Graham Aylard-Poxon

Street • Urban • Fine Art

As a broadcast engineer, everything is technical — systems are in place and deadlines are critical. As a photographer, Its the opposite: free-flowing, instinctive, and I'm able to follow whatever catches my eye. Street photography is the perfect playground for that. I search for interesting compositions, light, contrast, and the moment. I capture scenes that reveal beauty within a structure and a quiet drama often in places that are easily overlooked. For me, photography is about the connection between subject, setting, and the moment and capturing that in a single frame - in my creative way.

A Closer Look
Photography is about noticing the moments that others might pass by. In A Closer Look, I explore the themes that inspire my work—light, shadow, place, and atmosphere. These collections bring together images that share a common feeling or story, offering a deeper look into the way I see and interpret the world around me.
